What are those blue things?  Am I suppose to eat them?
"Oh, those are just shavings from the plastic cutting boards we use.  We see that all the time."  Says the manager of Store number 7 in Kennesaw, GA.  They did offer to give a coupon for a free meal there but giving credit is against the company policy.  Just what I want to do, eat more plastic.  Hey, Applebee's, plastic is forever.  I don't want it in my body.  Better keep the lights down low (like usual) so people don't see what you are feeding them.
